  1. Penny Serenade with Cary Grant and Debra Kerr.

This oldie in black and white tells of a couple’s struggles to start a business together and then to have a baby. They eventually adopt a baby and are such a team in every way!!! They face a serious sadness in the marriage and almost give up, but the marriage triumphs, and the movie has a happy ending.
